The Story

It started with a leaky faucet, a YouTube rabbit hole, and the realization that most of this stuff isn't actually that hard — you just need someone to show you how.

I'm not a contractor. I'm not a professional handyman. I'm someone who got fed up with the idea that you need to call an expert for everything, pay premium prices for basic fixes, or buy the most expensive version of something just because the marketing said so.

"If I can figure it out, film it, and save you a few hundred bucks — that's a good day."

I started the EyeDoStuff YouTube channel to document my own projects — home repairs, DIY builds, product tests, and lifestyle experiments. What I didn't expect was how many people were in the same boat: capable, curious, just needing someone to go first and show it's possible.

This website is the companion to that channel. Every guide here is written to go deeper than a video can — with exact measurements, product lists, links to what I actually used, and honest notes on what went wrong (because something always does).
